Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") defines the acceptable and prohibited uses of the HaulGuardr driver verification platform (the "Service"). This policy applies to all users of the Service, including account holders, drivers, and any other parties who access or interact with the Service.

Violation of this policy may result in suspension or termination of access to the Service and may be reported to appropriate authorities.

2. Acceptable Uses

The Service is intended for legitimate freight verification purposes, including:

  • Verifying driver identity before releasing load information or pickup numbers
  • Confirming driver presence at pickup and delivery locations through checkpoint verification
  • Capturing and storing proof documentation (BOL, POD, equipment photos) for audit and compliance purposes
  • Generating verification status reports for freight operations management
  • Exporting evidence packages for dispute resolution and claims support

3. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the Service for any of the following prohibited purposes:

3.1 Fraud and Misrepresentation

  • Submitting false, fraudulent, or misleading information
  • Impersonating another driver, broker, shipper, or carrier
  • Using fake or altered identity documents
  • Submitting photos of equipment that does not belong to you or is not being used for the load
  • Spoofing or falsifying location information
  • Using the Service to facilitate double brokering, cargo theft, or other freight fraud

3.2 Unauthorized Access

  • Accessing the Service using credentials that do not belong to you
  • Sharing account credentials with unauthorized parties
  • Attempting to access verification data for loads you are not authorized to view
  • Using automated tools to access the Service without authorization
  • Attempting to bypass security controls or verification requirements

3.3 System Interference

  • Disrupting or interfering with the operation of the Service
  • Attempting to overload servers or network infrastructure
  • Introducing malware, viruses, or other harmful code
  • Reverse engineering, decompiling, or attempting to extract source code
  • Circumventing rate limits or usage restrictions

3.4 Data Misuse

  • Collecting or harvesting personal information without authorization
  • Using verification data for purposes other than legitimate freight operations
  • Sharing verification data with unauthorized third parties
  • Retaining data beyond the periods specified in applicable agreements

3.5 Legal Violations

  • Using the Service in violation of any applicable laws or regulations
  • Using the Service to support illegal activities
  • Violating export control or sanctions requirements

4. User Responsibilities

As a user of the Service, you are responsible for:

  • Accurate Information: Providing truthful and accurate information in all submissions and verifications.
  • Account Security: Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and notifying us of any unauthorized access.
  • Authorized Use: Ensuring that anyone who accesses the Service through your account complies with this policy.
  • Prompt Reporting: Reporting any suspected fraud, misuse, or security incidents to our team.

5. Monitoring and Enforcement

We reserve the right to monitor use of the Service for compliance with this policy. We may investigate suspected violations and take action including:

  • Issuing warnings for first-time or minor violations

  • Terminating accounts for serious or repeated violations
  • Reporting illegal activity to law enforcement
